Here we have some wonderful additions to the vegan food scene in Portland. These are great non-vegan restaurants with an abundance of terrific plant-based options on their menus. From classic burgers to delightful ice-cream, Portland is the place to be if you’re vegan!

There are over 60 McMenamins restaurants, pubs, and bars in Oregon. Look on their website for the best location nearest you.

An extremely popular chain of restaurants, hotels, breweries, spas, movie theaters, etc; McMenamins has multiple locations. Stop by one of their restaurants or stay at one of their hotels and soaking pools! McMenanins made it on the list to pay homage to their mouthwatering Mystic 18 Burger. It is made with a Lifelight Patty, a vegan Chao cheese slice, and their own vegan Mystic Sauce. You can get fries or tater tots, and ask for their vegan Mystic Sauce to dip. Their Hummus Platter is a great vegan option as well! They have some dreamy salads, rice bowls, and sandwiches to choose from. If you’re visiting Portland, you will see McMenamins all around, so be sure to stop in for their Mystic 18 Burger!

Located in SW Portland, this venue is great for a taste of Sasquatch brews made on site in their new 7 barrel brewhouse. Their menu has some great vegan options including Vegan Hazelnut Pesto Pasta, and their Mission: Impossible Burger served with rich vegan aioli and avocado. Their Tofugazi is a hearty tower of a sandwich, with fried tofu and tomato slaw; served on a beautiful ciabatta bun. With their friendly and bright interior, this is a great spot for an intimate meal or to rest after cycling in the area.

The infamous Portland Voodoo Donuts with their unique “Portland Weird” designs, are a great option for some sweet vegan treats. They have an abundance of vegan donuts mirroring their regular donut flavors. You have to try their outstanding jam filled Voodoo Doll Donut, or the Bavarian cream filled Portland Cream. And the Old Dirty Bastard with chocolate frosting, Oreos, and peanut butter drizzle, comes highly recommended. If you’re flying in, or out of Portland, you may see people with their famous pink boxes in the airport.

Harlow Café + Juice Bar  is a fancy vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free restaurant providing fresh local food with gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian options.  They have healthy and hearty vegan options on their menu. I highly recommend their vegan mac and cheese, or their power bowls. They specialize in out of this world juices, smoothies, and elixirs made with herbs, fruits, and wellness powders. Stop in to order and utilize their lovely outdoor seating.
